Memorial Day Has Been Extended - Really!Do you ever have the feeling that holiday weekends never allow enough time for a real getaway? We have put together a mini-vacation package that will enable you to take the time you need to have a pleasant, restful, stress free respite from your daily life. You don't even have to think up activities for entertainment. We do it for you! Here's all you need to do: Choose any three consecutive days between May 23rd and June 3rd; choose either a Deluxe Queen Room (at $185 per night) or one of our Spacious Suites (at $200 per night). Leave the rest to us. Day 1 Arrival Day - You will be greeted with your choice of a bottle of chilled chardonnay or a bottle of cabernet in your room at check-in. We will give restaurant recommendations and make reservations at your desired place and time./P> Day 2 Wine Tour - You will be greeted in our beautiful dining room for breakfast. After breakfast we will depart for a chauffeured tour of our favorite Humboldt area wineries for your private tour with the wine makers, tasting their wines and enjoying a gourmet picnic lunch. We will return to the inn around 4:00 to relax with wine and an array of hors d'oeuvres to satisfy all appetites. Day 3 Town and Bay Tour - Breakfast first and then choose a walk around our quaint Old Town with our resident historian of do your own touring. Pause for lunch at one of our Old Town restaurants, then take an afternoon or sunset cruise on Humboldt Bay aboard the MV Madaket, the longest continuously operating ferry in the U.S. with the smallest licensed bar in the State of California. You'll love it! Day 4 Departure - Another great breakfast prepared by our excellent cook before you begin your trip home. We will be sad to see you go and hope that you'll find your way here again.
